MY SISTER IS A PUBLISHED AUTHOR!!!

family life resources Oct 15, 2018

I can’t believe this day is finally here! I can’t believe the words I’m about to type! I can’t be more proud to say:

MY SISTER IS A PUBLISHED AUTHOR!!!!!!!!

To say that my sister, Becky, and I are close might be the understatement of the year. It’s hard to begin to describe the depth of our sibling relationship. The reality of the depth comes from the valleys that we’ve been through together. We endured broken relationships, painful losses, school challenges, and constant change. We navigated some hilarious phases like Jinco jeans (her) and Nike earrings (me). We journeyed through her countless surgeries that seemed to never end and both helped each other move more times than we could count. We even got arrested together (another story for another time)!

We had some great times along the way as well! Coolio, Montell Jordan and Garth Brooks on full blast in my high school 85 Blazer. Graduating college (eventually) and finding spouses...

My Take on the Oculus Go | Product Review

I first experienced Virtual Reality almost 5 years ago! I immediately thought it was going to be HUGE and expected it to catch on fast! That hasn’t been the case as the technology has been expensive for consumers and content creators. In this episode, I’m sharing my thoughts about the Oculus Go a month after getting my hands on it.

My Experience at Virtual Reality Church

I’ve been dreaming about Virtual Reality Church for about 5 years now ever since the first time I tried on the Oculus Rift headset. So much so that when the .Church TLD opened up, the first domain that I bought was VirtualReality.Church as I was convinced that Virtual Reality Church was going to be a big part of the future.

Last night I had the privilege of attending my first Virtual Reality Church service led by my friend DJ Soto with VRChurch.com. To be honest, it wasn’t what I envisioned at all. It was much different.

You see, I dreamed of a physical church worship service being streamed out in 360 video so that it could feel like you were there.

What I experienced last night was much different. To be honest, it was so much more than I dreamed. What DJ has created is a church that fully exists in Virtual Reality.

Here’s what my experience was like:

I logged into the AltVR app after first creating an avatar and jumped into the VR Church event. When I...
